Cheap single strollers that connect Pushchairs

If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that doubles up as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its super nimble manoeuvrability and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to perfectly traverse all terrains and types'.

The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack come together to create a chic pushchair with a subtle, elegant aesthetic. The frame itself weighs just over a kilogram and is so light you can lift it directly from the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to add or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable to remove stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than most of the other Cheap single Pushchair strollers we tried, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also rotate. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear slightly bumpier than other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. However, they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers we test, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry even with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It is easy to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
