A robot vacuum/mop combination is the best self vacuum for pet hair solution for pets that shed fur. The machine can vacuum and mop and even dry and clean its own mop pads.

The X2 Omni is the latest in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuums and mops. This model is dry and wet. It is equipped with the latest AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which gives enhanced mapping and obstruction-free operation. The system uses dual-laser LiDAR similar to the kind you'd find in self-driving cars -- and can scan an area of up to 32 feet by 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping and faster response times and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping mat made of chenille, making it much easier to scrub hard-to-clean spots than traditional mopping. In my tests, the X2 Omni took just over a minute to wash its pad and begin work, and I noticed that it was much more accurate than other models that were able to follow a grid-like path around rooms. It was able to navigate my rooms by the corners and edges as well as create an "Zambani pattern" up and down the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station regularly to empty the dustbin, and wash the mop with hot water prior to beginning another cleaning task.

Like other Ecovacs products The X2 Omni is a breeze to set up and start using. Snap the dock into position connect it to the power outlet and connect it to your WiFi network at home. The main flaw of the T10 Omni is that it cannot switch between vacuuming and mopping in a single operation. Both modes require that you attach and remove mop heads as you need to which is great for most homes, but isn't a good fit for people who have a busy schedule.

The A4s Pro also offers a useful auto cleaning mode that automatically boosts suction power to handle tough dirt and spills, and it is equipped with a battery-powered ElectroWall that lets you set boundaries that the robot isn't permitted to enter.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular new brand is the cheapest we've ever tested, and provides exceptional value for money. Its navigation system is based on a basic random pathing algorithm, and it's not able to map rooms. This is why it's less effective than other models in this list. It's still able get under furniture and into the corners. Its mopping mode performed well in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ might not be as well-built, but it is better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles and floor surfaces that are bare.
