If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it is solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is due to its nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in an aeroplane's overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all 4 wheels made of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to 'perfectly traverse all terrains and types'.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it doesn't bend as much as some other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to move however, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's affordable. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk of a car. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test it performed better than the majority of other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable on uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top single strollers of the stroller and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

It took us under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it's missing some critical features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is billed as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be converted easily with only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. This narrow pushchair handled all day bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can swivel. This is helpful in rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well, although it seemed a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds up small single stroller enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than the other strollers we test, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It's a stroller made of aluminum which can be used from the baby's first days to beyond. It's got a few stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat from parent to the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy, a flip out eyeshade, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds in just four steps and locks automatically without hassle. It is also able to stand and be trolleyed for easier transport in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use, using a single buggy colored and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget Single Pushchair sale pushchair is extremely easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It is also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into various positions. It also has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best since it's not as silent as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each the other. They can also be positioned to face the parents. This can help to reduce sibling disputes over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who like to stay active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also has great safety features, like the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake unlike other models that are a twist.

The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit in, however the seat's depth is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. This is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it right from the start by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and is available in multiple languages.
