The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also has many options for customization. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill which is an option that is available in other GE fridges that allows you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. It does offer a countdown on the fridge display to show how much water you have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to look like a seamless piece in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also boasts a veggie compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors for maximum food preservation. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of ice that is low in water consumption. This refrigerator is the ideal option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for an integrated look and top of the line food preservation.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never moving by more than a fraction an inch. This is essential in preventing freezer burn. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with an ordinary French door design, and two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set of crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more headroom. There's also a full-width drawer for products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

One of the nice things about this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer also features innovative design features such as sliding drawers that help you sort your things. It also comes with a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items as well as a separate ice storage bin.

Smart InstaView panel is another awesome feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the temperature of your fridge, lighting, and more using your smartphone. It's a nice way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't enhance the performance of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this fridge as compared to other fridges we tried. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front that allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, however they're difficult for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those who want to combine the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with an efficient design. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a little less than the top counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it an attractive choice.

It's a basic refrigerator which may not be as appealing as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a suitable option. It also comes with a huge water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with an intelligent thermometer to get more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It is capable of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared with glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
