UPVC Replacement Door Handles

Inline Lever/Lever

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc functions differently to the lever type handles on doors. These handles can work off one single spindle (inline) or independently from each side using two offset spindles or inline (pad). They are usually employed on UPVC double-glazed doors and come in a variety of styles and styles.

The handles are available in a variety of finishes including White Chrome, and Gold. The finish is in line with BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 and is also resistant to corrosion, which gives the handle a high degree of durability and performance for its intended use.

Euro Cylinder

Cylinder locks are typically used on uPVC doors, but they can also be found on other types of doors. The cylinder lock operates with a key that unlocks the cylinder case. The case is then able to reveal pins that can be aligned to those in the lock and allow them to turn the camera that rotates, opening the door. Euro cylinders can be fitted with up to six pins, with both internal and external doors usually needing different levels of security.

The choice of cylinder is crucial. It's dependent on the type of use your doors and handles will receive. External doors, for instance should be equipped with higher security cylinders and internal doors can be secured using an ordinary cylinder. In addition, some cylinders are available with extra features which can enhance security even more, like anti-drill or anti-bump features.

To make sure that the euro cylinder is the right size for your door, it must be measured correctly. The cylinder must be measured from the screw hole in the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, in the event that one is present. If you cannot measure with the lock in position, you can take it out of it. This simple component is the best solution to fix this problem. It also stops your door from getting stuck in either the open or closed position since they are difficult to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specifically designed for use with multipoint locks that are sprung, they will not fit multipoint handles that are not sprung and you will need to have a custom hole cut into the backplate to allow them to fit (please see image for technical diagram). These cassettes can be used as a replacement to damaged or missing cassettes that are in the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are supplied in a single unit. They have a square-cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
