We contacted Ladina Schopf - an interior designer, architect and founder of LS Projects - for her advice on how to choose the best one. They weighed the capacity of storage, layout and energy efficiency as well as other factors.

But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This fridge is expensive and I expected more.

This refrigerator is a good option, despite the slight blip. It has a large freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French door fridges. It also holds plenty of frozen food, which is a big difference from other models.

The drawers are simple to open and close, but I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the full suite of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and it has a ton of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked as well as when the fridge or freezer must be defrosted and when the filter has to be changed.

It is nice it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set the number of cups they would like to disperse. It also has an indicator on the fridge's display to display how much water have left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. This refrigerator is the ideal option for a single family or kitchenettes who want a built-in look and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the best in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never changing more than a fraction of an inch. This is essential to preventing freezing burn. The fridge section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature set within a matter of hours, and maintained the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its high-end appliances. It's therefore no surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great choice for those who require lots of space within a small frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge has an ordinary French door design, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more space. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.

One of the nice aspects of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer has thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the position of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food, and a separate bin for ice.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It lets you control the temperature of your fridge as well as lighting via your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your refrigerator and control it, especially when away from home.

It would have been more effective to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerator with an ice maker, making it a desirable choice.

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic refrigerator that may not be as eye-catching as some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make it a suitable choice. Its most significant feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you divert some of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, so you can keep food items that require extra attention. You can adjust the feature using the slider located on the on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the fridge didn't differ significantly from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but it isn't quite at the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of grey-bodied stainless steel which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It is capable of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing even when compared with glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
