Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers aren't any lighter or more compact than this. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a neat rectangle shape and the wheels turn more smoothly than other designs.

The handle is lower than many strollers we've tested however some parents may feel uncomfortable using it for long periods of time. It does have a handle lock to keep it in place while open however. This is a great feature if you plan to use the stroller on uneven or rough terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate stroller for parents on the go. The compact stroller is easy to fold down and up, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes, as well as in trunks at amusement parks (no more worrying about parking charges). It is also equipped with a simple-zip bag for storage that is easy to carry. It can be used right from birth with the infant car seat adapter and provides a decent amount of shade by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only issue for some parents is that they feel the design uninspiring and utilitarian.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight single fold pushchair strollers. It was designed specifically for urban living and luxurious travel. It's among the easiest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case) and comes with plenty of storage space, including a cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the adult and child, and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used with infants using the car seat adapter. The handlebar isn't adjustable and could pose a problem for some parents who are small.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it offers many amazing features that make traveling with kids easier. The spacious seat reclines into a flat position and has extra padding to make those airplane napping sessions more comfortable. The extendable canopy has plenty of sun-shade and the tray on the front provides plenty of storage. It also has a footrest with springs that doubles as a handle when it's folded. The footrest is susceptible to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller that is stylish and has a high-end design and quality. Its compact design allows it to easily maneuver through narrow sidewalks and tight spaces however its sturdy structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension at the front and back makes for an even more comfortable ride and the durable materials ensure that it will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. It can also be expanded to accommodate other accessories like a bassinet and infant car seat.

In our tests, the Minu was easy to fold and move around even with a baby in hand. The squat fold, which can be divided into three sections is among the easiest we tested. This makes it possible to easily fit into overhead compartments of planes and public transport. It has a single wheel stroller-action, color-coded brake that is simple to use.

Joovy is a well-known stroller brand, produces various models. This lightweight model is a good choice for parents who want a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, provides ample storage, is easy to maneuver and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. This model isn't suitable for those looking for a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It doesn't accept any infant car seats, and your babies must be able to sit on their own before you can use the stroller starting from day one.

This stroller is brimming with features and is offered at a price that is very reasonable. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other models with similar specs. It's also a great option for smooth surfaces. It comes with a large parent tray, a canopy, and plenty of storage. The front wheel suspension is a little stiff and the handlebar is smaller than normal, however it still provides an enjoyable ride for adults.

If you have twins, or two kids of different ages, you might consider a side-by-side stroller is the best lightweight single stroller way to take them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller offers an elegant version of the stroller. It has the same great features and can be fitted out with a bassinet so you can take your baby home with style from the hospital.
