The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop vacuum robot that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not the best i robot vacuum and mop time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want to get one of the best vacuum and mop combo (Going to Max 1121) robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and [empty] can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
