Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear weapons, equipment and other items. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who want to achieve Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. It's important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category like machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it simpler to use. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could use a better affordance. It's currently shaped like a pistol that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other gear scatter slots.

The smuggle slot can house an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are secretly stored in inconspicuous places around the map, and can be found at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.

Mission planning is an option available in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to entering the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for every task.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly get full early in the game, which will result in the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max from acquiring new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space has been obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. Since many of these challenges are overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to get the most inventory high RTP slots in the game.

The five Gear exciting slots (visit the next document) of a player can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to pass through a frisk later in the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise cause suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC includes new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Then, go to the stated mission marker and identify a mob when you arrive.
