This blog's "blog gambling" has become a regular thing every summer, but I stopped this year because it's getting a bit stale.

However, I got a new item the other day, so I decided to use it instead of "dice" from August 1st to 31st. Some of you may have bet on whether I would write a blog entry or not, but this summer I will be gambling on myself.

A gacha version of a vertical roulette, 300 yen.

Until last year, I followed the casino game [Big Small = SIC BO] and decided whether I would write a blog entry or not depending on whether the sum of the three dice I rolled every day was "big" or "small".

However, with this vertical roulette, you put one 100 yen coin on a number between "0" and "36", and if you hit it, you take it all. The probability of winning is 1/37 each time, so if you lose every time in a month, you will earn 3,100 yen.

Then on August 31st I'm going to put out an entry listing the results over the last 31 days and the "red/black" numbers.

Unlike "big" and "small", the probability of each number appearing is the same for all numbers. However, for "red/black", there is a possibility of a "bias" in which one of the two appears consecutively, just like the sum of the three dice "big 11-18" or "small 3-10".

Predicting and seeing this "bias" is the best part of studying probability theory, so it should be a nice break from the heat.

*Feel free to bet on which of the "red/black" numbers in the August 31st entry will appear more often.
